This process begins with an initial consultation at the Ingrid Studio, whether that be in-person or virtual to accommodate long distance brides. This is where we walk through the Ingrid Bridal made to order collection together and discuss the styles that you feel connect to you the most.

We will have asked you upon booking your first appointment your wedding date, ideal budget and dress size so that we can tailor the consultation to you.

The Ingrid Studio, situated in the centre of Sheffield, England, is where we hold enquiring brides first appointments.

We hold the first consultation at the studio so we can show prospective brides our Ingrid Bridal world from behind the scenes, share with you the collections and show you the space that your wedding dress will be made from beginning to end. We think that being able to see the space in which your wedding dress comes to life is a special part of being an Ingrid Bride.

After your first consultation, should you decide to work with us, from this point on we will welcome you at our Ingrid Bridal House in Kelham Island, Sheffield, to host your fittings in a relaxed and warm environment.

Once you and your bridal party arrive at the Ingrid Studio you shall be given the time and space to take in the studio and enjoy complimentary drinks. Here we will take the opportunity to get to know you better, and share with you our made to order wedding dress collection for you to browse and discuss at your leisure.

We want you to feel relaxed and supported from beginning to end. So we will talk you through the dresses while continuing to get a better understanding of what you are looking for, making note of details and dresses that catch your eye.

You will also have the opportunity to look at our collection of fabric samples that our dresses can be made in and we will take this opportunity to take your measurements, this way we can get started once you have made your decision.

Whether you’ve chosen a dress from the made to order bridal collection or chosen to go completely bespoke, we want your experience to be a memorable one, that is completely tailored to you.

The first sketches of your dress will incorporate the ideas we discussed in your first consultation, so that you can see the concept come to life.

Once the design has been decided on in sketch form or the style has been chosen from our collection, we will book in your first fitting appointment. Here you will try on your first toile, a mock up of your design made in a cotton calico fabric or replica silk. At this appointment we will be looking at the design and fit of the toile, so that we can talk about any changes that might suit your shape, height and style. Here we will also work with you to decide on the final fabric.

The Ingrid Bridal House is an inviting and relaxing space where yourself and your bridal party can enjoy the process of seeing your wedding dress come to life.

The House embodies the brand through its interior design and furniture so that you feel fully immersed in the Ingrid Bridal experience throughout the fitting appointments.
